Acrobat Pro - Fonts/text is invisible!! HELP

New Here ,
Mar 14, 2025 Mar 14, 2025

When I look at my 357 page PDF online it is perfect. But when I download and open on my mac desktop - the fonts are all invisible. See attached photo - one online and one in deskop software.

I have uninstalled Adobe Pro - did nothing.

When other open file it works fine - just not on mine.

I was able to open these same files perfect on Tuesday - but not since I upgraded to pro version yesterday.

Please help as I need to extract pages and it says its too big online.

I'm in Hungary so downloaded from that store (but my language is English).

I have exactly the same issue. Last wednesday everything worked fine, but since today I can't see any text in PDF's just like you described. I also tried on 2 other MacBooks and they have the same issue. I've also uninstalled Creative Cloud, but nothing works.

Hope it will be fixed soon!

Yes, this is exactly the problem I'm having.  I download a bank statement from Navy Federal Credit Union or a document from the Medicare website, and I just can see the basic bank or Medicare form with no information personalized to me in it, such as name, transactions, etc.  I called Navy Federal and was told the PDF they sent me (by email, separately from the one I downloaded) was perfect.  But when I opened it, it's the same blank form I downloaded with no personalized data in that form.  This just started about a week ago.  How do we get the Adobe engineers on this?  I'm using the Mac version, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Continuous Release, Version 2025.001.20432.  Thanks.

I also have the same problem.  It was fine in old version.  But it doesn't work after update.  In my case, all the math symbols do not show up.  Just redirect to my post: https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/failed-to-show-any-math-symbols-after-update/td-p...

Hello Aniko,

I hope you're doing well, and we apologize for the delayed response and the trouble.

Could you please share a PDF file in which the fonts are not visible, and the current version of Acrobat installed? To identify the app version, see this article.

Please share the file with us for further investigations.

Thanks,

Anand Sri.

Sunny_warrior4852_0-1742396782996.pngexpand image

The image is missing text using Google font "Work Sans" and bootstrap icons are also completely missing!

All are working on build 25.1.20432.0 and the latest mac OS

Hi All,

Thank you for your patience.

Please try updating the application to the latest optional update version. In Acrobat, go to Help > Check for updates.

After updating the application, try rebooting the machine. Then, check if you can view the PDFs without any issues.

For more information on the latest optional update, refer to the following page: https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/release-note/release-notes-acrobat-reader.html

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Meenakshi
