Hi,

Have this problem lately on Windows 10, couldn't find how to fix it. Acrobat DC installed as a part of Adobe CC.

Anyone knows how to fix this, please.

Thanks

I did Repair to Acrobat Reader DC and reassigning default PDF application and that didn't help. But then after repairing Acrobat DC and Windows restart that problem is gone and everything works as it should, thanks.

Do you actually need Acrobat DC? It is part of CC, but it doesn't automatically install if you don't want it. You can unstall it.

Have you used the Open With > Choose Another App menu?

Have you used Settings > Apps > Default Apps > Choose default apps by file type?

I am having this same problem. I bought Acrobat PRO for a project, then I cancelled my plan. BUT now every one of my PDFs opens in Adobe Pro.

I don't want this to happen. I just want to save a PDF to my MacBook and then be able to access a simple PDF in my files. HELP PLEASE

Try repairing the install of Adobe and then restart the application.
