Acrobat Standard 2017 Slow open

Acrobat Standard 2017 takes about 10 seconds to open, on one of our systems. Windows 10 Pro x64. Other systems in the same office (same OS, same version of adobe) open fine, takes less then 2 seconds to open adobe.

Adobe opens slowly, weather or not you are opening a document. Just launching adobe by itself can take 10 seconds.

Followed troubleshooting guides that had us disabling the security and enhanced security settings, turning off the add-ons, repairing/re-installing. So far have not had much luck.

Any advice on how to make Adobe launch faster would be appreciated.

Sorry for the delayed response.

Try following troubleshooting steps:

1- Check if an update is available for Acrobat using "Check for updates" option under "Help" menu, reboot the machine after installing update and try again

2- If that doesn't work, launch Acrobat as an administrator -   Run an Adobe program as administrator | Windows 7, Vista

3- If issue still persists, try repairing Acrobat using "Repair installation" option under Help menu, reboot the machine after repair and check.
