Yes another Acrobat update has messed up the Enfocus PitStop functionality. The latest Acrobat update (Jan 2024) Has messed up PitStop once again. You can not edit any text the entire screen goes white or dark depending how the preferences are set. VERY VERY frustrating.
Guys can you play nice together nicely?
Enfocus if your out here please fix as soon as possible!

One possibility is that you are using the New Experience. Try turning it off to see if it helps:
Steps to enable [and disable] the new experience
Details about the New Experience here:
https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/new-acrobat-experience.html
I've moved your post from Creative Cloud Desktop to the Adobe Acrobat forum for you.
Here are the pages from Enfocus for Contact and Support if you need them after disabling the New Experience:

Can you show a screenshot of your Acrobat interface? A video of the screen going white or dark when you edit text would be helpful.

Ok here are the steps I'm using.
PITSTOP EDIT
SELECT EDIT TEXT LINE
SELECT ANY EDITABLE TEXT cleck and than click again you will see the attached screen capture below.
You can also do FIT TO WINDOW where everything turns black or white. depeningif you are in dark mode..
At that posint you need to exit the document since you can not see anything.

Enfocus says - Go to a later Version of Acrobat. But this is not possible 😞
ADOBE - Please make it possible! There is no life without Pitstop.

Same issue with Mac/Pitstop/Adobe.
i found you can sometimes use acrobat to edit the text but I know going back and forth is annoying.
mine started doing it when I edit the color of a off too.
i think there trying to eliminate Enfocus-Pitstop...
but I need it and don't know what to do...
I really hope there's an updated fix soon and it continue to eliminate features.

Don't spread conspiracy theories. When using Pitstop, you need to disable automatic updates in Acrobat and you need to wait for Enfocus to clear the version for their product before updating.
Contact Adobe customer service for getting access to a prior version of Acrobat.
Get ready! An upgraded Adobe Community experience is coming in January.
