Hallo Leute,

Hi Amal,
Thank you for your message.
Adobe Acorbat X is an EOL application and not supported on the latest Mac and Windows OS.
Hm. So my Adobe Acrobat X runs fine on my main Win10 Pro system (22H2 – 19045.3448), which however was reinstalled (CleanInstall) four years ago (including the Acrobat) and has been kept up-to-date regularly since then. If I install my Adobe Acrobat X in a current Win10 VM (“latest [...] Windows OS”), the above problems occur.
In a Win 7 VM I have to register recently my Adobe Acrobat X via the Adobe ID, but then a different error message appears:
However, Acrobat then works after all.
Adobe is always good for surprises.

Hi Amal,
Thank you for your message.
I followed the link and and from there another link and tried the different solutions – unfortunately without success. I could not try Solution 4 because Acrobat X Standard is not available as a trial version, only the Pro version.
