Acrobat X Pro won´t start

New Here ,
Dec 08, 2025 Dec 08, 2025

I have used my Creative Suite, including Acrobat X Pro, for two years on my laptop without any problems. Today it won´t start up.

I have used the repair function in Programs. Still the same result.

I have of course also checked that my license is still valid, which it is (and other apps in the suite work).

Any ideas how I get this to work again?

Hi @Millie32068654h8py

Adobe never says that it will work. The product engineering team has not tested Acrobat X for Windows 11; you may refer to the product technical specifications.

You may try launching Acrobat in compatibility mode and see if that helps.

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble.

Adobe Acrobat X is an EOL application and no longer supported on the latest Mac and Win OS. For more information, please check the help page https://adobe.ly/4rBt7L0

Thank you very much for ypour feedback. I know that Acrobat X is no longer updated or supported. However, according to Adobe, it still works.

I use the same creative Suite on both my laptop and desktop PC, and on my desktop PC, which both run on Windows 11, and are both fully updated. All the apps run perfectly on my desktop PC. On my laptop, all other apps than Acrobal X work fine.

So, I think there is a glitch somehow which prevents Acrobal from opening.
