We installed acrobat pro on a terminal server since 2 year. but 2 month ago the terminal slow down and we discover acrocef.exe take 25% of cpu per user... we tried to desinstall and reinstall but nothing change...

do you have windows server 2008 os r2?
if so, reinstall using compatibility mode, Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2

yes it's a windows 2008 r2 standars. but when you says install in compatibility you mean execute... if so, i choose win7 or another OS

Excuse me for the delay but I try to install in win 2008 mode but I did not have this option. So I took the win7 mode. That does not solve anything. Since we tried to uninstall the version completely by deleting the entries in the registry. That does not solve anything. Two weeks ago we installed acrobat reader. Now the file that takes the cpu is rdrcef.exe * 32
