I want to have a dynamic stamp on the Quick Tools toolbar.  When I right click and select "Stamps" the only options in the Bates numbering tool.  Is there a way to have a dynamic stamp on the toolbar so it is only one click away?

No, you can only add the Stamp tool itself to the toolbar, not a specific

stamp.

Of course!  It's so obvious.  Where else would it be??  Thanks so much.  I have no need of comments feature so I'd never have found it.

Wow - that's the answer we all needed.  THANK YOU x 1,000,000

Thanks Adobe - not sure who on your team thought that putting stamps under "comments" rather than, um, "Stamps" was a great idea-  but well done for collectively wasting probably hundreds if not thousands of productivty hours around the world!

Years later and in a different version (Adobe Pro+) ... this "Stamp" solution is still true. Bless you for finding this. I've been looking for days.

I know your original question is quite old, but I was having the same issue (I'm a court reporter and have to stamp a lot of exhibits).

It's not a perfect solution, but if you open the stams via the Tools page and then select the Stamp Palette, it will remain open and you can use that to select your stamp instead of the five or so clicks it takes to find it under the comment menu.

The Stamp quick tool is under Comment for some strange reason instead of, you know, Stamp.

It's not one click and the "stamps" you're looking for are hidden within the "Comment" group.   To add the stamp right click the quick access tool bar and select "customize quick tools", navigate to the "comment" and click to drop down the selection.  Find and select "stamp" icon and click the  (+ and arrow up) to add it to the quick access.

I also have the same problem.
Why is the BATES NUMBERING is the ONLY option available in the "Add a Stamp"

I am super annoyed by it when I can previously add a specific dynamic Stamp in the Tool
