Adding Background Image, but it comes out blurry.

New Here ,
Feb 23, 2023 Feb 23, 2023

I am editing a 500 page catalog. I need to add a logo to the top and a QR code and ordering information to the bottom.  It was suggested that I use Add Background Image to do this.  So I created a .jpg and when I add it to the document, it is blurry.  How can I add it and make it clear? And is this the best way to do this?

Hi @april28561459vucu

We apologize for the delay in response. If you are still experiencing this issue, please check the following setting:

1- The image you add as background, should have good resolution.

2- When applying background using Acrobat, ensure you have the proper settings enabled and the "Opacity." should be 100%

Also, ensure that you have got the latest patch installed for Acrobat.

Go to Acrobat> Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once (you must save all the work before restarting)

To download the patch manually, more information about this release is here: Release Notes | Adobe Acrobat, Reader

Thanks,

Akanchha
