adding text in english

I'm in Kuwait and several months ago my employer installed Acrobat DC on my office computer. I use it exclusively in English, however, when i edit a pdf document and need to type text, it types english from left to right (i know i can use the justification tab), but the numbers type out in Arabic numerals. How do i get it to type English numerals?

In Preferences, click on "Language" from left pane, uncheck "Hindi Digits"
