Adobe Acrobat 8.1.0 lässt sich nicht registrieren

Hallo, obwohl ich die neue Version, wie vom Kundenservice empfohlen, heruntergeladen habe, bekomme ich immer folgende Fehlermeldung:

Es konnte keine Verbindung zu Adobe hergestellt werden um das Produkt zu registrieren. OK die Server für Adobe 8 sind abgestellt, aber mit der neuen Version sollte es doch klappen. Hat hier jemand einen Rat?

As per the issue description mentioned above, you are facing issue when trying to register Acrobat 8 on the machine, is that correct?

Activation or connection error when starting CS3 or Acrobat 8

Could you please confirm if you have uninstalled the existing version of Acrobat 8 installed on the machine and then "downloaded the replacement Acrobat installer" given on the page as the "new serial number is valid only with the special version of the app provided under step#3. You cannot reinstall using your original media.

Genau so habe ich es gemacht und bekomme auch danach immer die gleiche Fehlermeldung.
