I have Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard installed on my windows machine and it simply won't open.  Is this version just too old and is there a way to update it?  I have serial number.

Unfortunately it's too late for a reduced price upgrade. The permanent license Acrobat DC is limited and out of date, the subscription version is recommended.

To know whether it's too old we'd need to know what your computer is running - what version of Windows? Also fo you get an error message, if so exactly what does it say?

I am running a Windows Pro 10 System with a 64 Bit processor.  This evening, I restarted the machine and the adobe began to work again and color all my pdf's red again, but I still want to know if I can upgrade somehow.

Thank you very much.
