Adobe Acrobat Crashing on launch. Citrix Environment

New Here ,
May 30, 2024 May 30, 2024

After updating a client to 64-bit Acrobat, we are seeing users that try to launch Adobe, then adobe crashes, giving the below event log. I have another client where nothing has been updated and a user is also experiencing this on 32-bit Acrobat as well.

Adobe has the crash files but wondering if anyone else has seen this.

Faulting application name: acrobat.exe, version: 24.1.20604.0, time stamp: 0x65ef81aa
Faulting module name: unknown, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x00000000
Exception code: 0xc0000005

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well.

What is the worklow/steps you are doing? A small video recording would be very helpful for more clarity.

What is the version of the OS and the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 24.02.20759 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Also, collect the Crash/freeze logs (https://adobe.ly/4emohuI) and share them via any cloud storage. Just upload the log file to the cloud and generate the link and share that link with us for further investigation.

Regards
Amal
