Hello,

I have a dept that needs to use 4 character passwords for PDF's, but the new minimum is 6.

I've tried the below fix from Adobe and have had hit/miss results. Is there anything, other steps or tips to get this working?

Hi Paxton

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble.

What is the version of the Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 22.1.20117 (Win), 22.1.20112 (Mac) installed. Go to help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

What happens when you try the registry/plist entries or create an action wizard tool as suggested in the help page that you have shared, Do you get any error message? If yes please share the screenshot or a small video recording of the steps and the issue you are experiencing for a better understanding.

Regards

Amal
