Adobe Acrobat installer for ARM processor (Surface Pro X)

Hi,

Our organisation has started rolling out MS Surface Pro Xs to our users. Some of these need to have Acrobat Pro 2017 on them. I was wondering if there is an Acrobat 2017 installer which is supported on ARM64 processor. Kindly advise.

Thanks

Shameer

Acrobat is a 32 bit app so, unlike most Adobe products, the app should run. However it also includes a device driver to make the Adobe PDF printer work, and many shell extensions, Office adds in etc which need to match architecture. Adobe have not announced any plans to make an ARM compatible version of these. This hardware is either leading edge or dead end, depending whose report you believe, and this will hugely limit available apps.

Thank you for your response. Currently when I run the setup an error message pops up saying 'installtion failed' and then proceed to complete the installation. At the end, the installer says that the installtion was successful. I just tested the Print to PDF function and it seems to work fine. Is there any installation log where I can find why I get the failed error message?

Thanks

Shameer
