Adobe Acrobat Interactive PDF - Linking multiple text fields ....

Hello! Thanks in advance!
I have a few instances where our client would like the first text field to begin where the question ends which rules out using the traditional square multi line field. Instead, I need to make a few different fields and link them for continuous typing, no hitting tab to get to the next field. Pretty sure a script can handle that but the ones I found online did not work for me.
*I am on a mac, designing in InDesign but all functionality done in acrobat.

You don't need script to achieve this. Just allow RTF formatting (RichText) in your text field.

Then exit the form editing mode, select the text field and press Ctrl+E to open its text properties. Click on More and select the Paragraph tab. Here you can set in left inset for the first row.

The setting won't stick if the field is cleared.

Thank you for your response. I did find a script by searching and searching that work, so far, like a charm.
Cheers to you and the adobe community!

Are you sure about that? It usually causes a character to get "lost" when switching between fields, and also you can't backspace from one field to the previous one.
