Adobe Acrobat is opening blank/phantom windows

Hello, 

I am having an issue where Acrobat is opening (seemingly randomly) blank windows that are not closeable through task manager, or by navigating the windows UI. I realize the icon next to the phantom windows is teams, but even force closing teams does not resolve this.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Thank you for reaching out, and I apologize for the trouble you experienced. 
We have a known issue with phantom icons in the taskbar; however, that occurs when the user attempts to open files in new tabs on a secondary monitor. And the user gets the Acrobat icon rather Teams icon.

Let's try the following, and let us know how it works.

- Ensure Acrobat is updated. To check for updates, launch Acrobat > Help > Check For Updates. 

- Restart the machine > First thing, try Acrobat and check Teams is closed. 
- If you have a multi-monitor setup, try disconnecting for testing purposes and check if that fixes the issue. 

Let us know how it works. If the issue is still reproducible, help us with the following:

1. Acrobat version installed:  https://adobe.ly/3PQQ7nE
2. OS name and version.
3. Screen recording showing the problem.
