Adobe Acrobat Manager license is missing or damaged error message

Community Beginner ,

I have purchased Adobe Acrobat DC for Windows 10 and it fully meets my needs. I do not want to purchase the Cloud subscription service. However, I keep getting a message saying that Adobe Acrobat Manager required to verify license is missing or damaged. I click on the link and am directed to a page for the Creative Cloud Service. I do not want to download the Cloud software. I have tried numerous ways to solve this problem but the solutions seem inordinately complex. I do not want to uninstall and re-install the software, which seems to be the only solution I can find in the community forum. In addition, I seem to be able to access the PDF files using AA but this error message keeps coming up.  I feel like Adobe is trying to get me to purchase a subscription version. Please help.

I followed the instructions to locate the list of installed programs and understood I was supposed to uninstall "creative cloud"  but was unable to find "creative cloud" as an app so was unable to install it. I performed the CC cleaner according to instructions and restarted my computer.

The problem persists. Perhaps I am not looking in the right place to find the "creative cloud installer". All I saw was Adobe Acrobat DC.

I tried to follow the instructions again and still cannot find anything named creative cloud in my list of applications. I ran the cleaner again and now in addition to the Adobe App Manager is missing or damaged message, I also get this message: "Installation Problem: IMSLib not found Acrobat".

Please help!!!!
