New Here ,
May 10, 2022 May 10, 2022

Hi there,

I have Adobe Acrobat DC on both my laptop and desktop. Both linked via my creative cloud account.

On my laptop i have the prepare form option and on my desktop its far more limited.

Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Please show a screen shot from your desktop with the whole Acrobat window and the options you see.

It's incredibly easy for one to be looking at Reader and think it's Acrobat!  I know it's ultra simplistic, and a very basic thing, but it has happened to me many times over many years.  Might be worth a check.  Many of us have both programs installed.

Technically, Reader IS Acrobat--it's called Adobe Acrobat Reader. Of course, that makes it more confusing.

I don't believe the latest version of DC allows both Pro and Reader to be installed. (Working from memory here so not 100% sure.)

David - At my work computer curr3ently, and I have both Reader and Acrobat Pro DC installed:

IT handles updates/versioning, so not sure if these are the latest versions - will check my home machine when I get there.

Dave--you can have both. It appears that you have to have Pro installed then install Reader.
