Please describe the exact preference in Adobe Acrobat Pro that permanently disables the Home Screen feature. Please don't send a pointless link to directions that don't solve my problem. Tell me exactly how to disable this pointless and annoying feature.

Thanks @JR Boulay , tried that. Homescreen still shows on open.
Acrobat engineers getting bored on what should be a simple utility app and messing.
Latest is removing vertical scrollbar from single-page view.

It's the OS settings that manage the scrollbars, not the software.

JR Boulay please stop answering on this thread. None of your - often repeated - suggestions work. The homescreen is not removeable. Adobe will need to code this solution into the software.

I'm sorry if it doesn't work for you, but assume I tested it before posting and it works fine on my Mac.
And it seems it works for others too, because I didn't upvote my answers, nor did I select "Correct answer."

Replying here - still not solved May 2025. None of JR Boulay's responses are effective. Adobe will need to code in this functionality.
