I am using Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 (classic) on a Mac Studio - Apple M2 Max chip - Sonoma 14.1.1. My 'Contacts' export from Apple Contacts is a large file (46Mb). Adobe Acrobat will not search its contents. I have uninstalled and re-installed Adobe Acrobat Pro and the same problem persists. (It also displays wierd blue lines down the page when I enter a search.) It will search other files. I contacted Adobe support. No help. Has anyone had experience of this before? Is it just that it is a large file? Or is it - do you think - something to do with the Apple 'Contacts' exported pdf? Thank you.

Hi @Charles33789324b6vb

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check.

What is the version of the Acrobat 2020 you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 20.05.30539 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

Please try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-defau... and see if  that works.

Let us know how it goes.
