Hi, I have installed Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 on a RDS server (Windows Server 2019 Standard). The issue I am seeing as the administrator is that when a user logs into the RDS using his domain credentials, launched Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020, he is prompted to login either via 'serial number' or 'adobe id'. I selected serial number (which was assigned to his Adobe Account) and entered serial number which then opened Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020. In the top right hand corner I can see it is showing the users Adobe Account. The issue is, in the bottom left hand corner, it shows as a '7-day trial'. I have tried signing out and signing back in multiple times but it still shows as a 7-day trial. If I log into the RDS server using my domain admin account and launch Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 and go through siging in with the serial number that was assigned to the User, Adobe shows his Adobe Account ID in the top right hand corner and Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 is fully licensed (no 7-day trial). This to me sound like a permissions issue. Of course we don't want to give standard users Local Admin rights, so what can I do. I also tried launching Adobe Acrotbat Pro 2020 as 'administrator' when signed in to the RDS server as the User (right click on Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 desktop icon and select run as administrator), the application then launches fully licensed (no 7-day trial). I have alreayd tried giving full permission to the Adobe folders in all the folder paths (program files, program files 86, program data, users/local, users/roaming with full control) but same issue 7-day trial. Only works if I right click the Adobe Acrobat Pro 2020 desktop icon and run-as-administrator. Any help would be really appreciated?

Let me move this to the Acrobat forum for you, which is the appropriate forum for your question.

Hi LinSims,
thank you for your reply. How do I move my post to the Acrobat forum? I tried looking but couldn't how to do it.

No need for you to, as I have already moved it.
You won't be able to move posts. That's a super-special power I get as a moderator. *makes spooky magic zipping noises* 😉

Ha! Thank you LinSims aka Gandalf. 🙂
Where do I go now to see replies to my post as when I click "My Follows", it leads me here?
Also I suppose you wouldn't know the answer to my issue (thought I'd try).

Hi LinSims,
is there a reason no one has replied to my post? Am I missing something?

It's possible no one who knows the answer has seen it. Remember, this is a user-to-user support community. There are lots of knowledgeable people who help voluntarily, but that doesn't mean they see all the posts. Nor are they required to, since they're not Adobe employees.
I hope someone who does have knowledge sees your post, but there's not much I can do about it. I'm afraid I don't. I don't even know what an RDS server is!

Thank you LinSims. I am getting no where with Adobe phone support, even after they stated they would escalate this issue to their 2nd line team. Their followup email a few days later states they have now closed the case without any resolution provided nor did we can get calls from their 2nd line team. Great!
Hoping someone in the Adobe Community will see this and offer some guidance.

Any suggestions on the issue I have reported above please?

I have the same problem and it's embarrasing to tell the c-suite, "I'm working on it" and have no solution. WTF Adobe?
