Adobe Acrobat Reader DC will not let me type into a fillable PDF form...anymore

I have downloaded a PDF fillable form onto my Mac desktop screen. Several weeks ago I was able to fill out the form, save it, and come back to it whenever I wanted in order to complete it. Now, every time I attempt to type text into a field my computer makes a noise and no text comes up. What has changed from several weeks ago to now that prevents me from typing into the fillable form?

We need more info, please:

Is it the same PDF that you could fill out before or a different one?

Are you reopening a previously saved copy or the original?

What does it say in File  > Properties > Security?

Are you filling it out from a web browser (which one?) or did you download it?

What exact version of Reader? (Apple > About on Mac; Help > About on Windows)

What operating system?

It is the exact same PDF that I filled out several weeks ago, but I had not completed it, so came back to it today and could not type anything. I am reopening a previously saved copy of the PDF with some of the fields filled out. In File > Properties > Security it says, "The document's Security Method restricts what can be done to the document." It also says: Security Method: No Security, Can be opened by: All versions of Acrobat, Printing: Allowed, Document Assembly: Not Allowed, Content Copying: Allowed, Content Copying for Accessibility: Allowed, Page Extraction: Not Allowed, Commenting: Allowed, FILLING OF FORM FIELDS: ALLOWED, Signing: Allowed, Creation of Template Pages: Allowed... The PDF was originally from a web browser (Safari), but I downloaded it. I am using Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Version 2018.011.20036. It may also be important to note that my current plan is Adobe PDF Pack. My Mac is running macOS High Sierra Version 10.13.3. Let me know if I failed to answer any questions.

Did you sign it?

Did you do a save as when you first got it so you can start again?

What does in say in the Signatures pane in the left hand side of the workspace?

Yes I signed an area of the form that required a signature. The first time I saved I used 'Save As.' After that initial save I used 'Save' every time I came back to the PDF. On the left hand side of the workspace there are 3 tools: Page Thumbnails, Bookmarks, Attachments. It does not say anything else in the left hand pane.

But.... how does one "invalidate" their signature?

Right-click it and select "Invalidate Signature" (or maybe "Clear Signature", or something like that).

I may just have to re-download the PDF from the internet and start over and save the signature for last; as of right now I can not figure out how to invalidate a signature/there is not an option.

Any solution to this? I have also faced the same issue. I e-signed my fillable pdf and now I am not able to edit any field. On Cmd + Click on signature there is no option to clear the signature or invalidate it.
