Hello,
With my new Dell laptop, I purchased “Adobe Acrobat Standard 2020". It works fine: I can modify the content. However, I cannot add text nor images as I used to do with a previous version of Adobe on my previous laptop. I am very embarrassed, as I cannot work as I did. What should I do?
Thanks for your help!
Bruno

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/
p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.
What happens when you try to add text or images to the PDF file? Do you get any error message? If yes, please share the screenshot of the same for more clarity.
Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check. If the file is stored on a shared network/drive please download it to your computer locally and then try again.
What is the version of the Acrobat 2020 you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 20.05.30574 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.
Also, try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and see if that works.
Let us know how it goes.

Many thanks, Amal for your help!
99% of the bugs come from between the screen and the chair ... I belong to these 99% ...
Everything is fine, the current menu was too different from my previous version and I was lost.
