Adobe and Illustrator problems

New Here ,
Jul 05, 2019 Jul 05, 2019

I am making a cover for a comic book in Illustrator. When I export it from Illustrator the file is vertical in Adobe instead of horizontal. I am using Illustrator CS6 and Acrobat X Pro.

Does the Acrobat X Pro allows you rotate the file after it is exported to PDF from Illustrator? Or does it stays vertically with no ability to rotate the view?

Are you able to select the default page view in you Acrobat X Pro to horizontal, so that the next time that you export from Illustrator to PDF it is automatically viewed horizontally?

Adobe is not a product. You mention Illustrator, what is the other product - is it Acrobat X Pro?

You can rotate pages in Acrobat X Pro using the Pages palette (left hand side panel). Using the View menu is just the current view.

Also, pages should not rotate if you save a PDF from Illustrator - be sure NOT to use the Adobe PDF printer.
