Adobe DC is not creating my Bates-numbering log file

Adobe DC is not creating my Bates-numbering log file. I am 100% positve that I checked the "create log file" in the output options.   If I uninstall Adobe and reinstall it, it works - sometimes.   Is Adobe working on fixing this issue?  Any work arounds - other than constantly uninstalled the program?

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that.

 

Would you mind sharing the version of the Adobe Acrobat DC you are using? To check the version go to Help > About Acrobat and make sure you have the recent version 21.11.20039 installed. Go to Help > Check for updates and reboot the computer once.

 

Also try to repair the installation from the help menu (Win Only) and reboot the computer again.

 

You may also try to reset the Acrobat preferences as described here https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat-discussions/how-to-reset-acrobat-preference-settings-to-defau... and check.

I am having the same issue. The Log File is not generating. I am working with Adobe Acrobat 20.9.

I am experiencing this issue, too. I am using the latest version of Acrobat Pro DC on the latest version of Windows 10. When applying Bates numbering, I open the "Output Options" window, check "Create log file", and then click OK. If I click "Output Options" to open that window again, the "Create log file" checkbox is no longer checked. Even if I check the box and proceed with Bates numbering without re-opening the window, Acrobat doesn't create the log file. Specifying a location for the log doesn't fix the issue. Can you refer this bug to your developers?
