Can you disable macros in Adobe DC PRO... NOT Adobe Reader (I'm aware of doing it in Reader) but DC Pro?

What exactly are you referring to with "macros"? If it's automation with JavaScript, you can disable JavaScript in Acrobat's preferences.

A bit of the situation that I'm dealing with: Our company has a firewall in our email that strips macros from a document that the javascript OR Macro is detected or activated. In Adobe Reader, I can diable macros. I THOUGHT if I disabled Java script it would go through and it did NOT. It go stripped again. So because DC Pro is a totally editable program, I was wondering if I have no choice and is it even possible to disable macros in it?

There are no "macros" in PDF. All you can do is add some JavaScript to automate certain things (e.g. in forms). A JavaScript that is embedded in a PDF file cannot modify files on your hard disk (or do other damage to your computer), as e.g., a MS Word macro can. Acrobat also does not just add code to your document without you actively doing something to that document, by either adding JavaScript, or by selecting to distribute a document for an online review. Talk to the people who configure your firewall to find out what they are looking for and how you can prevent your files from being flagged.

The thing is, there really is no such thing as a "macro". Clearly your security software means something. You could either ask them, or do some experimenting. They probably mean JavaScript, yes.

Anyway, if JavaScript is blocked, it will make no difference whether you disable JavaScript. This just turns it off on your computer; it doesn't remove it from anything you send.
