adobe-for-edge extension has large blank white space on some PDF's

I'm using the adobe-for-edge extension. When I open some PDF's in Edge, almost all of the browser window is a blank white area.

Here's a screen shot of the issue:

I've been unable to find any element that I can drag to increase the size of the controls and PDF content. This PDF is being sent to me via a link in an email. I can download the PDF using the Download option and open the resulting downloaded PDF file with no issues.
It's just very puzzling why I can't locate any options that allow me to maximize the PDF display when the PDF is opened directly from the email link.

Sorry for the delayed response and the troubled experience.

Was it happening with all the files or just one odd file? Ensure your browser is updated.

If you’re still encountering this issue, I encourage you to share any additional details or steps that led to the problem. This will assist us in diagnosing and fixing the issue more effectively.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to make things right.

Hi @Marco29126495ybt5,

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for your experience with opening PDFs.

Do you still experience the issue? If so, would you mind sharing the information, as Tariq asked above, for further investigation?

Also, to test, can you try opening the same PDF using incognito mode? Or, downloading the file and opening it in Acrobat desktop.

This would help us understand if the issue is related to Acrobat's inability to render, or with the internet bandwidth, or something else conflicting with the application.

Look forward to hearing from you.

Regards,
Souvik.

Hi, I'm still having trouble opening some PDFs. Opening them from the locally saved file with Edge opens them correctly, ditto opening them in Adobe Desktop and with InPrivate browsing.

Edge is updated to the latest version. I'm using a Mac M1

Let me know if I can help you with more information, thanks

Hi @Marco29126495ybt5

Thanks for reaching out and sharing more details.

We could try using Google Chrome to test PDFs with the Acrobat extension installed. Then, we could check if the issue is reproducible with the same PDF files. Let us know the result.

Also, kindly help us with the following information

-  Edge version.

- A video of the complete workflow

- A few PDF files, using which you are able to reproduce the issue.

Once this information is available, we can dive deeper into potential solutions or escalate the issue accordingly.

Best regards,
Tariq | Adobe Community Team

LATEST
Hi Tariq,

here are the requested details:

-

Version 139.0.3405.125 (Official Build) (64-bit), but the issue also
occurs on previous versions.
-

I tried using Chrome, and the files open correctly there, obviously
using the Adobe extension
-

The issue occurs both on Windows machines and on Mac ARM devices
-

I cleared the cookies, but the issue persists
-

When opening the same PDF after downloading it, it is displayed correctly
-

At the moment, the issue occurs only with a limited number of websites
and PDF files, used in an enterprise environment and therefore not
shareable or recordable via video

I hope this information is helpful for understanding and resolving the
issue.

Please let me know if any further information is required.
Best regards,

M
