Hello!
This morning, I run the third party updates sync from Config Manager console and noticed that there was an update to security certificate for Adobe Reader DC catalog (thumbprint: BF7153FEEFC282B9F1D11CEC997EC01AD76F6693). However, Adobe Acrobat catalog is still using the old certificate ( thumbprint: 96b7b1ef175bba4bde33a05402134289b28b5bcb expiring today Nov. 4th. 2025).
Please let me know when do you expect that cert to be updated.
I appreciate your assitance very much.
Andre

Adobe Reader catalog file is now showing the new cert (valid till 10/5/27). Thank you for doing that!
Yesterday, I was able to pull the new updates for Adobe Acrobat DC but why is that Adobe Reader updates are still not available?!
I have to say that from my end your update release process is so inconsistent. This is causing such headache for the large enterprise company that I work for. I really wish that both updates would be release at the same time.

Hi Andre,
I run into the same problem, mine still shows the expired certificate, what update catalog do you use?
Many thanks!

Hi Lukasz!
We pull Adobe updates via CM from those 2 catalog files:
Adobe Acrobat - https://armmf.adobe.com/arm-manifests/win/SCUP/AcrobatCatalog-DC.cab
Acrobat Reader DC - https://armmf.adobe.com/arm-manifests/win/SCUP/ReaderCatalog-DC.cab
This morning, both those catalog files are singed with the new digital cert (exp. 10/5/27).
However, only Adobe Reader DC catalog contains the latest version of its updates (25.001.20844).
Regards,
Andre

Hi Meenakshi!
I just would like to let you know that, I was able to approve the new cert for Adobe Acrobat updates and synced them in CM. Everything is now working again. You can let your team know.
Thanks,
Andre

Any update?
Having same issue here, the CAB's provided by URL's are still signed with the old certificate causing the CM integrations to fail.
URL's
"https://armmf.adobe.com/arm-manifests/win/SCUP/ReaderCatalog-DC.cab"

Hi,
I checked both catalogs and both are signed with new certificates and both have the updated patches.
Please try downloading today and share the downloaded catalogs if still getting older ones.
Regards
Ravi

Still the old cert:
Can you please verify the URL's? This is what I have:
https://armmf.adobe.com/arm-manifests/win/SCUP/ReaderCatalog-DC.cab
https://armmf.adobe.com/arm-manifests/win/SCUP/AcrobatCatalog-DC.cab
I have tried these URL's from multiple systems on completely separate networks and the results are the same.

Hello Daniel!
It looks looks like this is a screenshot from CM console. To resolve the issue you would need to approve the new cert under \Administration\Overview\Security\Certificates. You can find the blocked cert there if you filter for "Adobe".

No it is not a screenshot from CM. It is a screen cap of the actual cab file signing cert.
No the certs were not blocked. I had been through all of that prior.
Now with that being said, I checked this AM and the reader CAB appears to be updated on your site. However, the acrobat cab is still showing the old cert.
I'll keep checking throughout the day and hopefully your content will update.
