Adobe Pro and Reader Printing

New Here ,
Sep 16, 2019 Sep 16, 2019

I, just recently, have problems printing from Adobe Reader or Adobe Pro (9.0 or X).  The Default Paper size is being set to "C5 envelope (162x229mm) when I want to print to my Xerox C70 printer.  I can manually change this, but if I save and reprint the document - the paper size is back to "C5..."  I would like to set the Default to Letter, but have found no avenues to do this on all printed PDF's.  This is happening on multiple PC's.  Help!!!

Hi TimHixson,

Sorry for the delay in response.

There is  no option to change the default settings of the Print window. However, when you print the PDF in the Acrobat, it saves the last used settings. Check if that works for you.

As you are using Acrobat 9 or X, both are old and unsupported version of the application. These versions are also not tested with the latest OS versions.

Did you try to print the PDF using the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC? If not, pease try.

Let us know how it goes.

Regards,

Meenakshi
