We are experiencing some issues trying to open more than one pdf in adobe reader. The reader opens a pdf ok, but when trying to open another with double click nothing happens and the new pdf does not open. To open a new pdf in another reader tab I have to drag and drop to the reader window.
Can someone help me.

Hi JUANPESSANHA,
Thanks for reaching out. As described above, Adobe Reader won't open more than 1 file at a time, correct?
We need some more information for a better understanding:
Please try to turn off the protected view and check if that works for you. Go to Edit (Windows), Adobe Acrobat /Reader (Mac) > Preference > Enhanced security > Turn off the protected view and uncheck the Enhanced security >click OK and restart the application and check.
Note: Turning off the security is for testing purpose only, please turn on the security after testing irrespective of the result.
If that works for you please use the help article - https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/protected-mode-troubleshooting-reader.html
If it still doesn't work
Let us know how it goes
Regards
Amal

Thanks for the answer man!
About your questions for me:
- This happens with any pdf file that clients try to open.
- This happens with network located files and local files.
- The Adobe Reader was instaled on a new windows 10 instalation using the the most recent version of adobe.
- The protected view already was turn off in reader.
Nothing works, there is something else that I can do?
