Adobe Webinstaller 21.7 taking up CPU

This latest update is killing one of my RDS servers due to this process taking up all the CPU. I have had to uninstall from the server.

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble. As described, latest update is killing one of the RDS servers due to the  process taking up all the CPU.

 

We would need some more information to narrow down the issue and get it fixed.

 

- Would you mind sharing the workflow/steps you are doing?

- Do you get any error message? A small video or a screenshot of the error message would be very helpful to identify the issue. 

 

We are here for help, just need more info.

I am also having this issue.

I have reinstalled adobe on our RDS but the adobe webinstaller 21.7 is still eating up abnormal amounts of cpu.

 

There is no error message. What happens is when another user connects to the server it runs another instance of adobe webinstaller 21.7 which can be seen in processes in task manager which adds 6-12% cpu load and eventually when enough users log in the CPU usage gets maxed out. We have been rebooting the server but that only resolves the issue for a few hours before the webinstaller starts eating up CPU again.
