Is it possible to sort by 'Filename' instead of 'Relevance Ranking' by default each time I perform a new search?
I really don't need anything other than Filename option, so maybe there will be a way to workaround in the Windows registry if it's not possible to set in Acrobat preference?
Hi,
As per the description mentioned above, you want to know if its possible to sort the results by 'Filename' instead of 'Relevance Ranking' by default when performing an advanced search in Acrobat”, is that correct?
Sorry to say but the option to change the sorting of results when performing an advanced search is not available.
Let us know if you have any further query.

Yes, I would like to sort search results by file name as default option.
Maybe there is a workaround by setting specific Windows registry (regedit) options?

Who in the world thought it was a good idea to not only make the least user-friendly and logical option the default, but also to make it impossible to change the default?
It's one thing if it was at least a session thing, but no – it reverts to the utterly meaningless ‘relevance ranking’ every single time you perform a search. That is mind-bogglingly poor UI design, even for Acrobat’s standards.
