Advobe Acrobat XI Pro will not sign to Acrobat.com

New Here ,

I have Adobe Acrobat XI Pro. In the past, I have been able to sign-in to Acrobat.com to save my PDFs through the program. Now the Acrobat XI Pro is asking me to sign in Acrobat.com again so I can open a previously saved file, but it says, "Your browser or operating system is no longer supported."

Firefox as my default browser and Windows 10 is my OS, and Avast Premium Security is my antivirus. I have not changed any settings for Firefox, Windows or Avast.

What do I need to do to allow Adobe Acrobat XI Pro to sign in to Acrobat.com so I can gain access to my save files again which will allow me to edit them?

Hi there

Hope you are doing well and sorry for the trouble.

Please go through the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/update-operating-system-and-browser.html and see if that works for you.

Note: Adobe Acrobat XI is an old and EOL application. For more info, please check the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/end-of-support-acrobat-xi-reader-xi.html

Hope this information will help

I opened my Internet Explorer and went to About Internet Explorer under Settings. It shows I have Windows10 version 21H1 (OS Built 19043.1348). I think I need Windows Internet 11. I went to my Settings, Update and Security, Windows Update and the only thing I have is, “Upgrade to Windows 11 is ready – and it’s free”. This is the Operating System, not the browser. I looked under the Advance link and there are no drivers to be updated either.

How do I update Explorer from 10 to 11. I also have MS Edge available but the doesn’t open it either.

Hi there

If you see a warning even after you've updated the browser or operating system, ensure that you’re running the latest versions of your Adobe software.

If you are running the latest Adobe software and still see issues, make sure that Internet Explorer 11 is not set to Compatibility Mode, Legacy Emulation Mode or a document mode prior to Internet Explorer 11. Learn more about Internet Explorer Document Modes.

If your organization isn’t able to turn off compatibility mode, you can create a per-product exception using the registry keys below. The example below will force Acrobat into Internet Explorer 11 mode; you can add additional keys for other Adobe products as needed. Please check the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/update-operating-system-and-browser.html

And by the way Windows Internet Explorer 11 is not the same thing as Windows 11 !!! Mixing these two things up could mean complete disaster for you !!!

According to the info I have, Acrobat.com was closed down and the files deleted at least 5 years ago. Acrobat XI is obsolete; the subscription Acrobat DC uses "Document Cloud" for PDF sharing.

Were you using it more recently than that (perhaps a month ago?)
