All PDF icons turned solid white after installing Reader DC while acrobat pro dc was installed

I have acrobat pro dc installed and also acrobat reader dc. When opening Reader it crashes after 3 seconds. I uninstalled Reader and Reinstalled it and now all my pdf icons have turned solid white. Seems to be interfering with acrobat pro dc

You don't need the free Reader app if you already have the full-scale version of Acrobat Pro DC.  

 

I suggest you uninstall both apps and reinstall just Acrobat Pro DC.  Skip the free Reader.  Use the Adobe Cleaner tools to wipe all old files from your system
