I am using Acrobat XI Pro. How do I make Acrobat display the page thumbnails in the navigation pane by default when opening any PDF file?
I know that it can be set for a specific PDF document by going to File -> Properties and changing the settings in the Initial View tab. But, I want the page thumbnail to show by default for all PDF files.
Also, I know how it can be done in Acrobat DC. I am asking for Acrobat XI.

Adobe just being Adobe thinks they are the BOEING of Software.
So just as BOEING decided to not imform aircrew that the cockpit door will open on decompression.
ADOBE has not told anyone that the thumbnail ICON (4 black boxes iin a grid) we all know and loved even when they hid it last update over in the side panel has been replaced with the PAGES tool item.

I am not sure how the information in the post by ImNotPOTUS makes the page thumbnails display by default when a PDF document is opened. A little more clarification will be helpful.
