I'm trying to archive my Outlook emails. We have an archival room, and I'm supposed to print every email out and store them in boxes. This is a waste of money and time. So, instead, I'm trying to export all the emails into PDF format and store them on an external hard drive, and then put the hard drive into the archival room.
I know how to export emails to a PDF file, with the attachments embedded in the PDF. However, I'm trying to find a way to convert the attachments into PDF as well. For archiving purposes, in 30 years, it might be really inconvenient to have attachments in .docx, .exl, .gif, .png, or .jpeg formatting. Currently we have files from MapPoint in .ptm format and we're having a hard time working with them since Microsoft disconinued the software. So I rather have everything be .pdf.
If there is no way to do this, then I'll just have to print everything out. Is there a way to print the emails along with the attachments? I cannot figure out if this is possible. So far, when I print the PDF it just prints the email and not the attachments. The email shows that there are attachments, but the attachments are not printed. That would also be bad if I had to open every attachment in order to print it.
Thanks for any help!

Hi,
I believe that is how it is supposed to be. The mails will be converted to the PDFs the very way we view them. We can't access the attachments within, without clicking them. Until then, they are just a bunch of words stringed together.
