Hello,
I have a dropdown list form field that is pretty long. I didnt know if there was a way to start typing into the form field and have it start to auto-fill the field based on what was being typed in. Right now, I can type in the first letter and it will scroll to those items starting with that letter but beyond that, it does not let me type any further.
I should also mention that I am currently running another script to auto-populate another field based on this selection.
Appreciate any help in the matter.
Thanks,
Adam

That's the only way it works in Acrobat.

Okay. Thanks try67. Wasn't sure if there was a box to check or a script that could be written. Appreciate your time.

One alternative is to filter the list using a separate text field and a script.
You can use this tool I've developed to do that: Custom-made Adobe Scripts: Acrobat -- Create Live Filtered List
