Hi All, I'm trying to set up automatic updates.
Task scheduler is set here ->
my mode is set to 3.
Now i'm trying to see a log to see if it tells me why its failing.
I saw something about iLogLevel but I don't know where to set that to view the log.
Also does someone have to be logged into the machine for it to automatically update?

In auto mode Updater will install available updates in system context.

iLogLevel DWORD value must be set to 1 in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Adobe\Adobe ARM\1.0\ARM
User must be logged in for Updater to be launched by Task Scheduler
AdobeARM.log file is in User Temp folder.

It is best if you simply delete bUpdater in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Policies\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\FeatureLockDown
The image you provided shows that you set it to disable updates for Reader.

Will the updater run as system context or the user? We don't give the users admin rights so we don't want them to get UAC prompts.

Not always
The update released today I had to manually update. A little surprising since my other Adobe apps auto update. Checked auto updater to insure it was on, and it was. May just be anomaly. Will have to monitor

I have 160 Users with Adobe Acrobat 2024.3.20112.0 installed. And the Adobe Update shows Adobe is up to date. Despite version 24.5.20392.0. now availible. I had to manually update my system. I do not want to manually update 160 users systems. We had another 160 Users the Auto-Update did work. I have been unable to discover why the other systems failed, including my own.
Any suggestions?

You'd have to provide verbose log file from a system where "Adobe Update shows Adobe is up to date"
Do you mean "Adobe Updater shows Adobe Acrobat is up to date"?
As suggested many times on these forums:
1. to enable verbose logging please set iLogLevel DWORD value to 1 in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Adobe\Adobe ARM\1.0\ARM
2. Select Check for updates from Acrobat Help menu
3. Provide AdobeARM.log file from User Temp folder (send it to me directly)

Hi @doug_5378,
Thanks for reaching out.
It is likely that if your machine is IT-managed, your IT admin has disabled it. Otherwise, reinstallation should fix this issue.
