I am scanning files into computer as pdf.  I need to bookmark all pages in the file.  The bookmarks are all the same.  How would I create a bookmark templete that I could add to each file and just add the page to the bookmark??  I would think there is a way to not have to create the same bookmark for every file.

Thanks!!

I am using Adobe Acrobat Standard 2017.  I can bookmark but I have to create the same bookmark everytime I open up a new file.  I would think that there would be a way to copy and past the same bookmark into the file and then add the pages to the correct bookmark.

You can't copy bookmarks from one file to another. What you can do, though, is use a script to generate the bookmarks, but if I understand you correctly the page numbers to which they should point change from file to file, so you would have to manually edit them after they are created to "point" them to the right page by assigning an action to them.

Another option is to create a single-page, blank template file that has the bookmarks and then insert the new file into it, delete the first page and save under a new name.

Could you point me in the right direction on how to insert a new file into the bank template.  I scan all my pages into the computer from a printer/scanner and save it with a name.

Open the template file with the bookmarks, then go to Tools - Organize Pages - Insert File and select your newly scanned file. Then set it to be inserted after the first page. Another option is to drag the file and drop it into the Pages panel on the left, after the first page.

If you are doing this for a large project with lots of PDF files, then you may want to look at a third party tool like Evermap AutoBookmark.
