When I print at home, copies are double-sided. I'll be sending the doc to Kinkos to be copied & then cut. Can Kinkos print single-sided from my PDF? Thanks, all
Kinkos doesn't exist anymore! It was bought out by FedEx (Federal Express) which renamed it FedEx Kinkos and subsequently, FedEx Office, its current name.
But to your original question, having worked with those folks for Adobe, I can assure you per what Abambo advised, that FedEx Office can print simplex (single-sided) or duplex (double-sided) depending upon what you specify in your job order, either at their counter or via their on-line job submittal. And this is true for any reliable print shop

I do not know who or what Kinkos is, but any copy service can print single sided or double sides. It's what you specify in your purchase order that is executed.

Kinko's does exist[1] and it's super convenient for sending document originals. But you're right, whether they print single-side or double-side is controlled in your options when you send it, not by your PDF file.

That's only true in Japan. And it is unlikely the “Kinkos” that the OP meant.
