Can not re install Acrobat 8 bought from 2008

I have a copy of Acrobart 8 Standard, purchased on May 5, 2008

I am trying to install it from a CD

I have the Serial Nr. Although its the correct one I get the following message

It is possible that Adobe has turned off the servers that verify serial numbers.
