I'm having an issue getting the app to download on my Macbook Pro. When I open the Acrobat Installer dmg, I'm promted to double click the folder to install, after which I get the message ""Acrobat Installer" is an app downloaded from the Internet. Are you sure you want to open it?"
When I select 'Open" nothing happens.
I've tried enabling root user and installing from there, but no luck.
Unfortunately the browser version is not working properly as well - the uploaded PDFs are not showing any of the content of the file, even though fields are being detected. This happens with both Chrome and Safari.
Any known issues with this or suggestions to fix these issues?

Hope you are doing well and thanks for reaching out.
Would you mind sharing the link that you are using to download the Acrobat installer?
As you have already tried enabling the root account and installing from there with no luck, please run the Acrobat cleaner tool https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/Labs/cleaner.html , reboot the computer once and reinstall the application using the direct link https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html and see if that works.
Let us know how it goes.

Hi Amal,
Thank you for your response.
I had a remote session with an Adobe support representative who led to to the following link to download the app successfully:
https://helpx.adobe.com/in/acrobat/kb/acrobat-dc-downloads.html
I had some spam responses to my post ***which is something everyone should be mindful of in terms of phishing scams*** but here is the correct contact link that I used to get in touch with the person that resolved the problem:

I see that you posted the same link that solved the issue...my apologies for the redundancy.
Hope you have a great weekend!
