I have been using Adobe to open and edit PDF files forever. Suddenly, as of a few days ago, I can't open any file at all. When I click on a file, the Adobe icon shows (on my Mac) but nothing opens

Hi,

can you confirm the exact version of your operating system and software?

Did you update/upgrade/install anything just before it stopped working?

Is the software up to date in the Creative Cloud App?

Can you check if there is a reason for the failure?

  • 1. Open the Finder app on your Mac
  • 2. Go to the /Applications/Utilities/ folder
  • 3. Find and open the Console app
  • 4. In the Console app, click on “System Log Queries” in the toolbar
  • 5. You’ll see a list of different types of logs you can view. Choose a relevant log for Acrbat at the time you tried to open it.
