Cancellation didn't go through

New Here ,
May 15, 2025 May 15, 2025

At the end of april I needed to use acrobat and got the free trial for it, and after 6 days I tried cancelling the order. I didn't realize at the time, but my request to cancel the plan never went through, and I have been charged now without realizing. Is there any way to get my money back and cancel my order, as I really can not afford this subscribtion?

@marta_1929 You can usually cancel your trial through your Adobe account page online. Look for a "Manage plan" or "Cancel plan" option associated with your trial subscription. Adobe also often provides instructions on their help pages on how to cancel. That's the problen, even though you may have cancelled it on the 6-day of a 7-day trial, it likely didn't triggered because of the timing of your plan change. Adobe's billing systems might operate on a different time zone than where you are live. So, even though you cancelld your plan on the 6th day, Adobe's system might have already initiated the renewal process for the trial plan. That's why you should always do it a couple or three days beforehand (due to internet being down, servers down, computer break and well time zones!)

Because this is a user forum, an Adobe employee may not review this all the time.  I would strongly recommend contacting Adobe Customer Support directly to explain your situation. You can usually find their contact information on the Adobe website at the very bottom, either through a chat function or a phone number. Explain clearly that you cancelled your plan.

Even if you miss the 7-day free trial cancellation window and get charged, Adobe often offers a 14-day money-back guarantee after the paid subscription begins. If you cancel within these first 14 days of being a paid subscriber, you might be eligible for a full refund. However, it's always best to cancel within the free trial to avoid any charges and the need to request a refund.

Hi @marta_1929,

Thanks for reaching out. As per your account details, the Acrobat Pro subscription is almost a month old. As the expert mentioned above, Adobe offers full refund if the cancellation is done within 14 days.

You can still cancel the subscription however there could be some early termination fees imposed on your account. Please refer to this article for more info: https://adobe.ly/4j3H2ny

Let me know if you have any questions.
