Cannot resize or move fields in forms

New Here ,
Jan 09, 2024 Jan 09, 2024

It has been several months that I am unable to move or resize fields. The only way I can move them is very slowly with the arrows up or down and it doesn't matter which PDF file it is. I cannot drag them like I used to before, nor can I resize them.  I have searched other comments and the Rulers and Grids are off, I have tried to drag it from the edges, and nothing. Please help! My work is very Adobe forms heavy and it takes forever to do this.

Are you using the New Experience? If so, try disabling it to see if that fixes it. If not, you can turn it back on again.

Steps to enable [and disable] the new experience

  • To enable the new experience, go to View > Enable new Acrobat and click Restart.
  • To disable the new experience,
    • Windows: Click the hamburger menu ( 3 lines ) at the upper left corner and choose Disable new Acrobat.
    • macOS: Go to View > Disable new Acrobat.

Details about the New Experience here:

I've moved your post from Using the Community (for questions about the forums) to Adobe Acrobat where more Experts and Employees will see your post and may have other ideas.
