Cannot resize window for PDF reader (older version)

New Here ,
May 11, 2020 May 11, 2020

Hi

I am running an older version of reader on Windows 8, and it does not offer an option to choose the window size, only minimise and maximise icons are present.

I have looked for a solution, but the closest one I could find is this (https://community.adobe.com/t5/acrobat/adobe-acrobat-dc-always-opens-pdf-maximized-how-do-i-stop-thi...), which is actually for a different problem.

I have considered updating, but this is a really old stressed-out machine, and I already have to wait too long when I switch betwwen apps etc.

Thanks

Mark

Hi Mark

we are sorry for the trouble. Would you mind sharing the version of the Adobe Acrobat Reader you are using?

To check the version go to Help > About Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Are you on a Mac or Windows machine and what is the version of the OS?

Please try to update the application to the latest version. Go to Help > Check for Updates.

You may also try to repair the installation (For Windows Only) Go to Help > Repair Installation and se if that helps

Let us know how it goes

Regards

Amal
