Color Profiles and Output Color when Printing. Options missing on Windows vs. Mac

Hello,

I have Adobe Pro installed on both a Mac and Windows laptop. On the mac, I can go to print a graphics pdf and under Advanced > Color Management there are many Color Profile options. Using these color profile options I am able to select various color profiles that are CMYK including the specific .icc profile profile made for our printer (Xerox Versalink C7030). However, on the Windows laptop - there are only RGB options in the color profile tab. I am not able to switch it to a CMYK option or the manually installed .icc profile no matter what I try. The output color correspondingly remains as a RBG option. The rgb options print very poorly to our printer and are not an option. Any ideas on how to get the CMYK versions avaialble when printing in Adrobat Pro on windows? I have already tried contacting support but all they did was reinstall many different versions of Adobe Pro with no succesful results.

I figured this out through a massive headache. Essentially it is the Xerox driver which was preventing this. Xerox driver has to be reconfigured on windows laptop to be a type 3 and postscript printer instead of the defaults. The driver wasn't recognizing that the printer supports CMYK thus stopping the CMYK options from appearing under Color Profiles in Adobe

You should have the same options except they are OS specific.

As I said, OS related.
