Combining Files- taking a really long time

I uploaded 7 files to combine, but it has been "converting" them for more than 24 hours and still nothing.

Any ideas how to fix it or what I am doing wrong?

Are you able to supply some more information?

What version of Acrobat are you using
What Operating System and version (E.g. Windows 10, Mac OS High Sierra etc.)
What are the file types of the files you are combining? (e.g. Microsoft Word documents)
And how big are the files.
What settings are you applying during conversion? Generally this is controlled by first setting the Preferences, prior to converting.
Also are the files you are converting on a server? or local computer?
What are the computer specifications (processor, empty hard drive space, amount of RAM.

I have seen slow conversions when converting to Tagged PDF, but that's been a matter of 2-3hrs of processing time to convert over 1,500 word pages (of 60-70 Word documents containing complex tables etc.), but never as long as you mention, it sounds like the conversion process has 'frozen'.
