Combining PNG files into PDF... error!

Hi all,

I've been using this feature for literally 6 years with no issues at all. This morning at work, I try to combine my files as I always do;

Export PNG from Photoshop/Corel/Illustrator

Right click the 2/3 files in Explorer and hit "Combine files in Acrobat"

opens the DC dialog, I hit "combine" as I have a million times before

the "converting" takes a long, long time and eventually gives me the error "Error during processing (file skipped)"

This only seems to be for PNG, JPG files. EPS files still work.

Is there any fix for this? I use it 20-30 times per day and is a necessity for my daily work

Any help would be appreciated

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. I can combine the PNG files with Nitro PDF but I hate the program!

I eventually fixed it, but to be honset, I'm not sure how.

I uninstalled all PDF readers I had (I had Nitro & Acrobat), since I worked out it was Distiller that was crashing (Acrobat/Nitro uses Distiller to convert from picture format to PDF in the background)

Restarted a few times, did a CClean (cleaning up the registry) restarted again, reinstalled and it worked

good luck
